Here are some photos of the wreath on my front door!
Of course, it's pink, too! I've looked high and low for a pink wreath to no avail.....but thankfully I had one extra piece of pink garland from decorating the mantel. (Post Here)
So off to Michael's I went in search of a wire wreath form--no luck they were sold out...so I bought a plain Christmas wreath for about $2.00 and took it home to rip off the green part! Voilà! A empty canvas to work with! Oops....not supposed to end a sentence with a preposition....let me try that again....An empty canvas with which to work.
I wrapped the pink garland around the form, then fluffed the boughs all going in the same direction to be sure that the wreath form was no longer visible, as I neglected to paint it pink to match.
I then added these cute glittered bells (or cloches!) complete with aqua mercury glass clapper. I picked these up at an estate sale a few months ago.
I also added some shatterproof ornaments from Target.
I got this glittered Noël sign from the same estate sale as the bells.
Finally, I topped it off with a bow I made from ribbon from the after Christmas Sale from Michael's last year. All together this wreath cost under $25.00 to make! I think that qualifies as Nifty Thrifty!
