Sorry for the delay in posting these!!! This is the second part of photos from my birthday trip to Through The Garden Gate! Also, many thanks to you for the birthday wishes and kind comments regarding my aunt! About 1,000 people came out to support us and celebrate her life. Chic-Fil-A catered, and I played the piano. I got one of the best compliments I've ever received regarding my playing the piano--someone said they thought it was a Jim Bricman CD, that is until they saw me up there playing!
Here are some of the candles from her hand poured candle line she makes. She custom blends all her own fragrances--they out do Yankee candles any day!
These old bloomers are so precious! She has quite a collection of vintage under-things on display from an old clothesline!
More crusty, chippy urns and planters!
Just look at all these chandeliers they've created!
I love this vignette of all the old lace and fabrics!
See those tissue paper flowers? I used some from here to make a bed crown!
What an elegant way to serve breakfast in bed.
All of her vignettes are so pretty! Whenever I'm in there she's constantly fluffing!
Another beautiful faux flower--these are one of her best sellers.
Little lambs eat ivy.
Here is a photo of her collection of vintage under-things on display! It reminds me of laundry day on a farm!
More great silver.
Lanterns are all the rage right now, especially in kitchens.....Wouldn't this look great over a kitchen island?
One last photo to share from my visit! I just got a new camera for my birthday--I can't wait to go back! I hope you enjoyed shopping with me! More information on her shop is located on my Antiquing 101 page--the link is at the top of my page, right under the header.
Vent hood tutorial is coming--I promise I haven't forgotten!
