Tiny Tinsel Tree Vignette

Happy Thanksgiving, all! I hope you have a lovely day of food, family, and friends!
Here is the vignette I have on the coffee table in the living room.

It all started when I put this tinsel tree on this compote filled with antique buttons.
I layered on some sheet music--mostly to hide the fact I haven't changed out the beachy Summer themed vignette in the coffee table since I first moved in well over 2 years ago...I know, shame on me.

Next, I pulled in an apothecary jar and a mercury glass finial I found under the dresser in the living room. I'm not sure how long it has been under there. In fact, I'm not sure WHY it was under there...

I added some more buttons to the jar and topped it with a single glittered star ornament.

I found this Noel tag in a box of Christmas goodies and added it into the mix.

Here is a close-up of the star ornament! I only have the one and am not sure where it came from. It was in a box of antique German figural ornaments I purchase at a yardsale.

What a lovely post. I love tinsel trees and grew up with a large one. I love the buttons too--my mother was a seamstress for our family and I frequently played in the button box!
