Cloche Encounters Christmas 2011

Finally, I am posting these photos! I know I promised them weeks ago....anyway here is the cloche vignette in my dining room this year for Christmas!

You saw a tease of these a while back, and I just wasn't happy with everything since I took the antique window and curtains down....I wasn't happy with those, either...so I added my $10 Wisteria Knock-Off wreath and a really cool piece of cast-iron architectural salvage.

The skates were given to me a few years ago and have been in my trunk until I put them under the cloche!

A marble compote holds a bird's nest full of miniature Christmas ornaments. I scattered more ornaments on the plateau it all rests on.

There is the whole vignette, complete with my $10 wreath!

The architectural detail is probably from a widows' walk on an old Victorian home.

The plateau above is the first one I ever bought! I don't think you can have too many!

Merry Christmas! Check back soon for more goodies!!!

I love the cloche vignette! Gorgeous! One cannot have too many cloche(s?) in my opinion. I have the same little "believe" snowman, he is one of my absolute favorites! I love the color of your wall, it's perfect!

LOVE LOVE your vignette! I have a little birds nest that I added small ornaments to also and it sits on a silver pedestal dish.

Love the cloches in front of that piece of ironwork, Mikey! What a great look! Those little ice skates are adorable and I've had my eye out for a decent pair myself.

Those are either tiny skates or a giant cloche... I have a vintage pair of black skates but they are not petite.... I am following you! :)
